Chinese idiom \u4efb\u91cd\u9053\u8fdc rèn zhòng dào yu\u01cen literally means to shoulder heavy respo<\/em>nsibilities and a long way to go. \u4efb\u91cd rèn zhòng, heavy responsibilities, \u9053\u8fdc dào yu\u01cen, a long way to go. It actually is heavily used in Chinese news and other media. The main spirit of this idiom is to encourage people to be prepared for an im<\/em>portant task in the long run.<\/p>\n

It is also used as \u4efb\u91cd\u800c\u9053\u8fdc rèn zhòng ér dào yu\u01cen. \u800c ér means “and”. I think the original story behind this idiom is worth telling too.<\/p>\n
