“\u5e7d\u5dde\u53f0”\u4e5f\u53eb“\u84df\u5317\u697c”\uff0c\u9057\u5740\u5728\u4eca\u5317\u4eac\u5e02\u897f\u5357\uff0c\u4e3a\u6218\u56fd\u65f6\u671f\u71d5\u56fd\u7684\u71d5\u662d\u738b\u6240\u5efa\uff0c\u4fee\u5e7d\u5dde\u53f0\u7684\u76ee\u7684\u662f\u4e3a\u4e86\u62db\u7eb3\u8d24\u624d\u3002\u8bd7\u4e2d\u7684“\u53e4\u4eba”\u548c“\u6765\u8005” \u90fd\u662f\u6307\u90a3\u4e9b\u80fd\u591f\u793c\u8d24\u4e0b\u58eb\u7684\u8d24\u660e\u541b\u4e3b\u3002“\u6006\u7136”\u610f\u601d\u662f\u60b2\u4f24\u7684\u6837\u5b50\uff0c“\u6d95”\u662f\u773c\u6cea\u3002
"\u5e7d\u5dde\u53f0(Y\u014duzh\u014dutái)"(Youzhou gate-tower) is also called "\u84df\u5317\u697c(Jìb\u011bilóu)"(Jibei tower), which is located in the southwest of Beijing. It was built by the King of Zhao in the Yan State during the Warring States Period for the purpose of recruiting talents. “\u53e4\u4eba(g\u01d4rén)”(the forefathers) and “\u6765\u8005(láizh\u011b)”(the coming generation) all represent the wise emperors who could co<\/em>ndescend to the talents. “\u6006\u7136(chuàngrán)” means being sad and “\u6d95(tì)” refers to tears.
\u53e4\u4ee3\u7684\u82f1\u738b\uff0c\u6211\u5df2\u9047\u4e0d\u5230\uff0c\u540e\u4e16\u7684\u8d24\u541b\uff0c\u4e5f\u65e0\u7f18\u76f8\u89c1\u3002\u60f3\u5230\u5929\u5730\u4e4b\u957f\u4e45\uff0c\u5b87\u5b99\u4e4b\u832b\u832b\uff0c\u6211\u5374\u611f\u5230\u5b64\u5355\u5bc2\u5bde\uff0c\u4e0d\u7981\u60b2\u4ece\u5fc3\u8d77\uff0c\u6f78\u7136\u6cea\u4e0b\u3002
I’ve got no chance to meet the ancient wise kings, and fate has decided that I also won’t be able to see the o<\/em>nes to come. The world remains so vast and everlasting, but I, alone in despair, can o<\/em>nly shed sorrowful tears on this tower.
\u8bd7\u4eba\u7528\u8fd9\u9996\u8bd7\u611f\u6168\u81ea\u5df1\u751f\u4e0d\u9022\u65f6\uff0c\u8868\u8fbe\u4e86\u81ea\u5df1\u80f8\u6000\u5927\u5fd7\u3001\u6ee1\u8179\u624d\u534e\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u53c8\u9047\u4e0d\u5230\u8d24\u660e\u7684\u541b\u4e3b\u3001\u62a5\u56fd\u65e0\u95e8\u7684\u611f\u6168\u548c\u5bc2\u5bde\u7684\u5fc3\u60c5\u3002
In this poem the poet laments that though ambitious and talented as he was, he was unfortunately born in the wrong time since no wise king could appreciate him and provided him opportunity to serve the country.
