For these examinations, examinees were required to compose a poem on a given topic. Prior to the topic, they had to add the two charcters &quot;\u8d4b\u5f97&quot;, meaning &quot;on&quot; or &quot;in memorial of&quot;.<br \/>  \u53e4\u539f\u4e0a\u90a3\u7e41\u5bc6\u8302\u76db\u7684\u91ce\u8349\u554a\uff0c\u4e00\u5e74\u5e74\u5730\u67af\u840e\uff0c\u53c8\u4e00\u5e74\u5e74\u5730\u7e41\u76db\u3002\u71ce\u539f\u7684\u91ce\u706b\u4e5f\u4e0d\u80fd\u628a\u5b83\u4eec\u70e7\u5c3d\uff0c\u6bcf\u5f53\u6625\u98ce\u5439\u6765\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u53c8\u4f1a\u904d\u5730\u6ecb\u751f\u3002\u90a3\u82b3\u8349\u5982\u6b64\u9752\u7fe0\uff0c\u8fdc\u8fdc\u5730\u8513\u5ef6\u5230\u53e4\u9053\uff0c\u6674\u7a7a\u4e0b\u8fde\u63a5\u7740\u8352\u57ce\u3002\u5982\u4eca\u53c8\u8981\u9001\u670b\u53cb\u53bb\u8fdc\u6e38\uff0c\u4e00\u7247\u7247\u8302\u5bc6\u7684\u82b3\u8349\uff0c\u4e5f\u6ee1\u6000\u60dc\u522b\u7684\u6df1\u60c5\u3002<br \/>  O, the lush, dense wild grasses of those ancient grasslands, wilting year by year, and flourishing o<em><\/em>nce again. Wild fires cannot destroy them, for o<em><\/em>nce the spring wind blows they will grow anew throughout. The verdant grasses stretch far to the ancient passes. Under the clear sky, they run between abando<em><\/em>ned cities. Today, I o<em><\/em>nce again see off a friend on a distant journey. Every blade of the perfumed grass is pregnant with the sorrow of parting.<br \/>  \u8fd9\u9996\u8bd7\u5199\u53e4\u539f\u6625\u8349\u5f3a\u52b2\u65fa\u76db\u7684\u751f\u547d\u529b\uff1b\u800c\u5f25\u6f2b\u53e4\u539f\u7684\u840b\u840b\u82b3\u8349\uff0c\u4e5f\u589e\u6dfb\u4e86\u4e0e\u670b\u53cb\u79bb\u522b\u7684\u6101\u601d\u3002<br \/>  This poem describes the vivacity and energy of the ancient grasslands in the flourish of spring.
