Zhu Shouchang was a man of the Song Dynasty. When he was seven years old, his natural mother Madam Liu was envied by his father’s first wife and had to remarry another man. Then he lost co<\/em>ntact with his mother in 50 years. In the period of Emperor Shen Zong, Zhu Shouchang became an official in the imperial palace. He wrote a sutra in blood and went around to seek his mother. After he got the clue, he decided to resign from his post and go to Shaanxi to seek her and vowed never to return without finding her. He finally met his biological mother and two younger brothers in Shanzhou. They reunited happily and returned together. His mother was already more than 70 years old at that time.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
