We also learn some Chinese characters that use &ldquo;b, p,  m, f&rdquo;. In addition you can have tone drill and quiz on b, p, m, f.<\/p>\n<h3>Initials<\/h3>\n<p>Initials are called \u58f0\u6bcd in simplified Chinese (pinyin: sh\u0113ngm\u01d4). There are 21 initials excluding y and w.<\/p>\n<p>The co<em><\/em>nventional order is:<br \/>  b, p, m, f; d, t, ,n, l; g, k, h; j, q, x; zh, ch, sh, r; z, c, s<\/p>\n<h3>Pro<em><\/em>nunciation Guide<\/h3>\n<p>The letters b, d, and g are really the un-aspirated versions of p, t,  and k. This means that they are pro<em><\/em>nounced in the way the letters p, t,  and k are pro<em><\/em>nounced after the letter s (as in spy, sty, and sky).<\/p>\n<p>The following guide is given in terms of English pronunciation.
