His courtesy name was Ko<em><\/em>ngming and his pseudo<em><\/em>nym was Wolong (also being known as Fulong). He was titled the Marquis of Wu and was posthumously titled the Marquis of Zhongwu. He wrote articles including the Chu Shi Biao (The main topics addressed by Chu Shi Biao included the reasons for the Wei expedition, as well as advice to Liu Shan on governing the kingdom), the Latter Chu Shi Biao and Jie Zi Shu (The letter to expostulate his son), and invented &quot;wooden ox and flowing horse (sometimes identified with the wheelbarrow)&quot; and the Ko<em><\/em>ngming lantern.
