Great Wall in Beijing

Beijing is not only the political center of China, but it is also the most strategic city in the north. Many dynasties in Chinese history actively built walls in this area. Among many historical ruins of the Great Wall in Beijing, the wall built during the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644) is the most often seen and best preserved, running over 373 miles and containing about 827 city wall platforms, 71 passes and countless towers. The famous Great Wall sections include the Badaling, Huanghuacheng, Mutianyu, Jiankou, Gubeikou, Jinshanling and Simatai.

National Stadium (Bird’s Nest)

The National Stadium, affectionately known as Bird's Nest, is situated in Olympic Green Village, Chaoyang District, Beijing. It was designed as the main stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The Olympic events of track and field, football, gavelock, weight throw and discus were held there. Since October, 2008, after the Olympics ended, the National Stadium has been opened as a tourist attraction. Now, it's the center of international or domestic sports competition and recreation activities.

Leshan Giant Buddha:乐山大佛

  The Leshan Giant Buddha(乐山大佛Lèshān Dàfó), which was chiseled on the cliff where the Min River(岷江Mín Jiāng), the Qingyi River (青衣江Qīngyī Jiāng)and the Dadu River(大渡河Dàdù Hé)flow together, is the world's largest stone-carved Buddha so far. The giant sitting Buddha was proposed to be built by Monk Haitong in a bid to weaken the flow of water and reduce water disaster. It was carved from 713 AD and not completed until 803 AD, costing an unprecedented amount of manpower and material resources. On December 16th of 1996, this massive spectacular Buddha statue was officially authorized as "World Cultural and Natural Heritage" and was placed on the World Heritage List by the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).

The Bund:外滩

Located along the Huangpu River(黄浦江Huángpǔ Jiāng), the Bund shows off Shanghai’s outstanding foreign buildings, most of which were erected before 1937. To the Europeans, the Bund was Shanghai’s answer to Wall Street. In the 1930s, the string of buildings hosted the city's financial and commercial centers, and the world's greatest banks and trading empires established a base here.

The Stone Forest:石林

The Stone Forest Scenic Area of Kunming is located in the south county, it is 78kms from Kunming(昆明Kūnmíng). The south county(Nan xian in Chinese) is the symbolic Karst landform place in China. There are over 400 square kilometers stone forest in the county, the whole scenic area includes the Big Stone Forest Area, the Small Stone Forest Area, the Naigu Stone Forest (Ancient Stone Forest in Chinese meaning), the Big Folded Water, the Long Lake, the Moon Lake, the cave of Mushroom and Clouds, the Astonish Windy Cave.
