YJ:  So Cam, what is the first thing you hear when you step inside of a taxi?
Cam:  The taxi driver would ask me “\u60a8\u53bb\u54ea\u513f\uff1f\uff08nin2 qu4 na3er\uff09” Does that mean “wher would you like to go?” in English?
YJ: Yes. You got it. As we learned before \u60a8 is the polite form of \u4f60, meaning you.
Cam\uff1ayes I remember it. Nin
YJ: qu means to go, and na er means wher. Together qu na er means to go wher.
Cam: qu na er?
YJ:\u60a8\u53bb\u54ea\u513f\uff1f\uff08nin2 qu4 na3er\uff09\uff0cwher would you like to go?

Cam: I heard that the answer to\u60a8\u53bb\u54ea\u513f\uff1f\uff08nin2 qu4 na3er\uff09”  wher would you like to go? Could be \u53bb plus the name of the destination. Right?
YJ: yes. For instance, if you want to go to the Chaoyang Park, you may say\u53bb\u671d\u9633\u516c\u56ed(w\u01d2 xi\u01ceng qù Cháoyáng G\u014dngyuán).
Cam: \u53bb\u671d\u9633\u516c\u56ed(w\u01d2 xi\u01ceng qù Cháoyáng G\u014dngyuán).Easy. And if i want to go to the hospital, that is \u533b\u9662 in Chinese\u3002Then can I say \u53bb\u533b\u9662(w\u01d2 xi\u01ceng qù y\u012byuàn ) to the taxi driver?
YJ: Very good. But I think you need to tell the driver which hospital you want to go. Let’s just say “Please take me to the People’s hospital.” In Chinese it’s\u53bb\u4eba\u6c11\u533b\u9662.
Cam: I see.  qu ren min yi Yuan. But in fact, that’s the last place I want to go to.
YJ: absolutely.<\/p>\n

YJ:  There is a much easier way to tell the driver wher you want to go.  Just say the name of the place.  For example, if you want to go to Chaoyang Park, then you could just say\u671d\u9633\u516c\u56ed(chao yang gong yuan )  for short.
Cam: \u671d\u9633\u516c\u56ed(chao yang gong yuan ). Much easier.  So how long will it take to get there?
YJ: well, you may ask in this way: \u53bb\u90a3\u513f\u591a\u957f\u65f6\u95f4\uff1f(qù nàr du\u014d cháng shíji\u0101n)

Yajie: we learned \u591a\u957f in our previous show, which means how long, and \u65f6\u95f4<\/a> is time.
