Let&rsquo;s start with Key Words of the Day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Words of the Day <br \/>  <\/strong>Gym \u5065\u8eab\u623f (jian4 shen1  fang2). weightlifting \u4e3e\u91cd(ju3zhong4) aerobics\u6709\u6c27\u8fd0\u52a8(you3yang2 yun4 dong4)  How much do you weigh? \u4f60\u4f53\u91cd\u591a\u5c11\uff1f(ni3 ti3zhong4 duo1shao?) I often go to the  gym. \u6211\u7ecf\u5e38\u53bb\u5065\u8eab\u623f\u3002(wo3 jing1chang2 qu4 jian4 shen1 fang2) All in today&rsquo;s  Chinese Studio.<\/p>\n<p>Chris: Okay Yajie&hellip; let&rsquo;s start by learning the Chinese term for &ldquo;gym&rdquo;.<br \/>  Yajie: Gym in Chinese is \u5065\u8eab\u623f (jian4 shen1 fang2). <br \/>  Chris: \u5065\u8eab\u623f (jian4 shen1 fang2). <br \/>  Yajie: \u5065\u8eab (jian4 shen1) means to work out, to build up your body shape. <br \/>  Chris: \u5065\u8eab (jian4 shen1 ). Then what does \u623f(fang2) mean? <br \/>  Yajie: \u623f (fang2) is an indoor place for doing activities. <br \/>  Chris: \u623f (fang2)<br \/>  Yajie: So gym is \u5065\u8eab\u623f (jian4 shen1 fang2).<br \/>  Chris: I see, \u5065\u8eab\u623f (jian4 shen1 fang2). Well, sometimes I go to the gym for weightlifting. So I wo<em><\/em>nder what its Chinese word. <br \/>  Yajie: It&rsquo;s \u4e3e\u91cd(ju3zhong4),weightlifting. <br \/>  Chris: \u4e3e\u91cd(ju3zhong4)<br \/>  Yajie: \u4e3e(ju3), ju, the third tone. It means to lift. <br \/>  Chris: \u4e3e(ju3)<br \/>  Yajie: \u91cd (zhong4), the fourth tone, means the weight. <br \/>  Chris: \u91cd (zhong4)<br \/>  Yajie: \u4e3e\u91cd(ju3zhong4), weightlifting. <br \/>  Chris: \u4e3e\u91cd(ju3zhong4). Yajie, I hear that more and more Chinese people go to gym and take aerobics. <br \/>  Yajie: Yes. They do it to keep fitness, to be slim&hellip;.<br \/>  Chris: Well, then I was wo<em><\/em>ndering how do you say aerobics in Chinese?<br \/>  Yajie:  It&rsquo;s \u6709\u6c27\u8fd0\u52a8(you3yang2 yun4dong4). \u6709\u6c27\uff08you2 yang3\uff09literally means to &ldquo;have  oxygen&rdquo;.
