The ancient form of the character "\u9f99" was what this mysterious animal looked like in ancient Chinese people’ mind. Chinese dragon is different from that of the West, and even more different from other animals in the nature. It was a combination of several animals in real life. Its body was like that of a snake; its ears an ox; its horns a deer; its paws a tiger; its claws an eagle; and its scales fish. The dragon was the most sacred animal in Chinese culture. It was said to be able to co<\/em>ntrol the forces of nature and go up high into the heaven and down deep into the sea. Dragon is also a symbol of the Chinese nation.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
