It was built by the King of Zhao in the Yan State during the Warring States Period for the purpose of recruiting talents. &ldquo;\u53e4\u4eba(g\u01d4r&eacute;n)&rdquo;(the forefathers) and &ldquo;\u6765\u8005(l&aacute;izh\u011b)&rdquo;(the coming generation) all represent the wise emperors who could condescend to the talents. &ldquo;\u6006\u7136(chu&agrave;ngr&aacute;n)&rdquo; means being sad and &ldquo;\u6d95(t&igrave;)&rdquo; refers to tears.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div>\u53e4\u4ee3\u7684\u82f1\u738b\uff0c\u6211\u5df2\u9047\u4e0d\u5230\uff0c\u540e\u4e16\u7684\u8d24\u541b\uff0c\u4e5f\u65e0\u7f18\u76f8\u89c1\u3002\u60f3\u5230\u5929\u5730\u4e4b\u957f\u4e45\uff0c\u5b87\u5b99\u4e4b\u832b\u832b\uff0c\u6211\u5374\u611f\u5230\u5b64\u5355\u5bc2\u5bde\uff0c\u4e0d\u7981\u60b2\u4ece\u5fc3\u8d77\uff0c\u6f78\u7136\u6cea\u4e0b\u3002<\/div>\n<div>I&rsquo;ve got no chance to meet the ancient wise kings, and fate has decided that I also won&rsquo;t be able to see the ones to come.
