When she was 10 years old, her father killed himself during the <strong>Cultural Revolution<\/strong>(\u6587\u9769 w&eacute;ng&eacute;).<\/p>\n<p>  \tAfter Pan graduated from Shanghai Drama Academy, she performed several supporting roles in films. In 1982, as a leading actor, she shot-fame for At the Middle Age. She awarded a <strong>Hundred Flowers Award<\/strong>(\u767e\u82b1\u5956 b\u01ceihu\u0101 ji\u01ceng), Changchun Film Festival Golden Deer, Shanghai Film Critics Award. As the Golden Rooster Award for Best Actress three times winner, Pan received a Golden Rooster Award for Special Award in 1994. Chinese critics named her &quot;The last noble in the Chinese film industry&quot;.
