Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen are the three highest ranked cities in China’s Comprehensive Development City Index for 2017(\u300a\u4e2d\u56fd\u57ce\u5e02\u7efc\u5408\u53d1\u5c55\u6307\u68072017\u300b), reports Beijing Daily.<\/p>\n

The index(\u6307\u6807) is the product(\u4ea7\u7269) of collaboration between the Natio<\/em>nal Development and Reform Commission and the Beijing Cloud River Urban Research Institute. The index ranks cities by assessing(\u8bc4\u4f30) a range of development indicators that affect(\u5f71\u54cd) quality of life(\u751f\u6d3b\u8d28\u91cf).<\/p>\n

Beijing was the top ranked city on the index. As the country’s capital(\u9996\u90fd), the city has advantages(\u4f18\u52bf) when it comes to access to a range of services. Beijing also has a rich(\u4e30\u5bcc\u7684) history(\u5386\u53f2) and culture(\u6587\u5316) that co<\/em>ntributes to the quality of life in the city.<\/p>\n
