No.: \u2166-3<br \/>  \u7533\u62a5\u5730\u533a\u6216\u5355\u4f4d\uff1a\u6c5f\u82cf\u7701\u82cf\u5dde\u5e02<br \/>  Nominating unit[s]: Suzhou city, Jiangsu Province<br \/>  \u6843\u82b1\u575e\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u4ea7\u751f\u4e8e\u660e\u4ee3\uff0c\u5f53\u65f6\u5728\u82cf\u5dde\u4e03\u91cc\u5c71\u5858\u548c\u960a\u95e8\u5185\u6843\u82b1\u575e\u4e00\u5e26\u6709\u6570\u5341\u5bb6\u753b\u94fa\uff0c\u5e74\u4ea7\u91cf\u591a\u8fbe\u6570\u767e\u4e07\u5f20\uff0c\u6545\u4ee5\u6843\u82b1\u575e\u4e3a\u540d\u3002<br \/>  Originating in the Ming Dynasty, Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints yielded millions of pieces each year in the scores of workshops around the area of Qilishantang and Taohuawu Street inside the Changmen Gate of Suzhou City, giving this art its&rsquo; name of Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints .<br \/>  \u6843\u82b1\u575e\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u76db\u4e8e\u6e05\u4ee3\u96cd\u6b63\u3001\u4e7e\u9686\u5e74\u95f4\uff0c\u6700\u7e41\u76db\u65f6\u671f\u6709\u5f20\u661f\u805a\u3001\u5f20\u6587\u805a\u3001\u9b4f\u5b8f\u6cf0\u3001\u5415\u4e91\u6797\u3001\u9646\u798f\u987a\u3001\u9646\u5609\u987a\u3001\u58a8\u9999\u658b\u3001\u5f20\u5728\u3001\u6cf0\u6e90\u3001\u5f20\u4e34\u3001\u5b63\u7965\u5409\u7b49\u753b\u94fa\uff0c\u7a0d\u540e\u51fa\u73b0\u7684\u738b\u8363\u5174\u3001\u9648\u540c\u76db\u3001\u9648\u540c\u5174\u3001\u5434\u9526\u589e\u3001\u5434\u592a\u5143\u3001\u9e3f\u4e91\u9601\u7b49\u753b\u94fa\u5728\u5f53\u65f6\u4ea6\u6709\u4e0d\u5c0f\u7684\u5f71\u54cd\u3002\u6843\u82b1\u575e\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u66fe\u6d41\u884c\u6c5f\u82cf\u3001\u4e0a\u6d77\u3001\u6d59\u6c5f\u7b49\u5904\uff0c\u8fdc\u9500\u6e56\u5317\u3001\u6cb3\u5357\u3001\u5c71\u4e1c\u5404\u5730\uff0c\u5e76\u6d41\u4f20\u5230\u56fd\u5916\uff0c\u65e5\u672c\u7684\u6d6e\u58eb\u7ed8\u7b49\u7248\u753b\u827a\u672f\u53d7\u5176\u5f71\u54cd\u751a\u5927\uff0c\u82f1\u56fd\u3001\u6cd5\u56fd\u3001\u4fc4\u7f57\u65af\u3001\u5fb7\u56fd\u7b49\u4ea6\u6709\u6843\u82b1\u575e\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u4f5c\u54c1\u6536\u85cf\u3002<br \/>  Flourishing most during the Yo<em><\/em>ngzheng and Qianlong reigns of Qing Dynasty, Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints gave birth to a substantial sum of workshops in its peak period, such as the workshops of Zhang Xingju, Zhang Wenju, Wei Hongtai, Lv Yunlin, Lu Fushun, Lu Jiashun, Mo Xiang Zhai (Inky Studio), Zhang Zai, Tai Yuan, Zhang Lin and Ji Xiangji. In addition, other workshops founded several years later, such as Wang Rongxing, Chen Tongsheng, Chen Tongxing, Wu Jinzeng, Wu Taiyuan, Hong Yun Ge (Cloud Studio), also established their fame at the time. Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints were o<em><\/em>nce popular in Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejiang, selling well as far as to Hubei Province, Henan Province and Shandong Province. They were also exported to other countries such as the UK, France, Russia and Germany wher Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints were collected. In addition, Japanese Wood-block prints such as ukiyo-e (pictures of the floating world) also benefited from the technologies used in the Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints.<br \/>  \u6843\u82b1\u575e\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u7684\u753b\u3001\u523b\u3001\u5370\u5206\u4e3a\u4e09\u5927\u8c31\u7cfb\uff0c\u5728\u957f\u671f\u7684\u521b\u4f5c\u3001\u751f\u4ea7\u5b9e\u8df5\u4e2d\uff0c\u8eab\u6000\u7edd\u6280\u7684\u8001\u827a\u4eba\u5404\u81ea\u6478\u7d22\u51fa\u4e86\u72ec\u7279\u7684\u7ecf\u9a8c\uff0c\u5f62\u6210\u4e86\u4e00\u6574\u5957\u7279\u6b8a\u7684\u5de5\u827a\u5236\u4f5c\u7a0b\u5e8f\u3002<br \/>  Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints&rsquo; three pedigrees of working group, namely, painters, engravers and printers, over a long period of time, formed complete work flows with unique style through the old artisans&rsquo; design and production practices.<br \/>  \u6843\u82b1\u575e\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u5236\u4f5c\u4e00\u822c\u5206\u4e3a\u753b\u7a3f\u3001\u523b\u7248\u3001\u5370\u5237\u3001\u88c5\u88f1\u548c\u5f00\u76f8\u4e94\u9053\u5de5\u5e8f\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d\u523b\u7248\u5de5\u5e8f\u53c8\u5206\u4e0a\u6837\u3001\u523b\u7248\u3001\u6572\u5e95\u548c\u4fee\u6539\u56db\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u5176\u4e3b\u8981\u5de5\u5177\u4e3a&ldquo;\u62f3\u5200&rdquo;\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u4ee5\u5f2f\u51ff\uff08\u5254\u7a7a\uff09\u3001\u6241\u51ff\u3001\u97ed\u83dc\u8fb9\u3001\u9488\u51ff\u3001\u4fee\u6839\u51ff\u3001\u6266\u51ff\u3001\u6c34\u94b5\u3001\u94c1\u5c3a\u3001\u5c0f\u68d5\u5e1a\u7b49\u5de5\u5177\u914d\u5408\u4f7f\u7528\u3002\u5957\u8272\u5370\u5237\u4ea6\u6709\u4e00\u5957\u7a0b\u5e8f\uff0c\u4e3b\u8981\u5305\u62ec\u770b\u7248\u3001\u51b2\u8272\u914d\u80f6\u3001\u9009\u7eb8\u4e0a\u6599\uff08\u5939\u7eb8\uff09\u3001\u6478\u7248\u3001\u6266\u7eb8\u3001\u5370\u5237\u3001\u5939\u6c34\u7b49\u6b65\u9aa4\u3002<br \/>  The making of Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints can be divided into five steps, namely, drawing the picture, engraving, printing, picture mounting and face coloring. The Wood-block engraving process includes pattern loading, line cutting, digging, and polishing. The key tools for these processes are the sloyd knife, and other instruments such as the bent chisel (for extraction), flat chisel, edge chisel, pointed chisel, pruning chisel, co<em><\/em>nical chisel, water bowl, iron ruler and coir brush are also used. The chromatic printing process is also divided into different steps, including block checking, mixing colors and clays, paper selecion and feeding, Wood-block feeling, paper-leading, printing, and absorbing excess water.<br \/>  \u6843\u82b1\u575e\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u7ee7\u627f\u4e86\u5b8b\u4ee3\u7684\u96d5\u7248\u5370\u5237\u5de5\u827a\uff0c\u517c\u7528\u4eba\u5de5\u7740\u8272\u548c\u5f69\u8272\u5957\u7248\uff0c\u4ee5\u95e8\u753b\u3001\u4e2d\u5802\u3001\u6761\u5c4f\u4e3a\u4e3b\u8981\u5f62\u5f0f\uff0c\u9898\u6750\u591a\u4e3a\u7948\u798f\u8fce\u7965\u3001\u9a71\u51f6\u907f\u90aa\u3001\u65f6\u4e8b\u98ce\u4fd7\u3001\u620f\u66f2\u6545\u4e8b\u7b49\u3002<br \/>  Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints inherited the craft of block printing from the Song Dynasty, and used artificial coloring and color chromatic printing at the same time. There are many varieties of these prints, including door-god pictures, central scrolls and hanging scrolls, and the themes are mainly a<em><\/em>bout driving out evil spirits, praying and welcoming good luck, local customs, operas and legends, etc.<br \/>  \u8fd1\u4e09\u5341\u5e74\u6765\uff0c\u968f\u7740\u4eba\u4eec\u751f\u6d3b\u65b9\u5f0f\u7684\u6539\u53d8\uff0c\u6843\u82b1\u575e\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u7684\u5b9e\u7528\u529f\u80fd\u5927\u5927\u51cf\u5f31\uff0c\u800c\u7eaf\u7cb9\u7684\u89c2\u8d4f\u529f\u80fd\u53cd\u5012\u6709\u6240\u63d0\u9ad8\u3002\u5e02\u573a\u7684\u53d8\u5316\u5f71\u54cd\u5230\u6843\u82b1\u575e\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u4e2d\u4f20\u7edf\u6280\u827a\u7684\u7559\u5b58\uff0c\u73b0\u4ee3\u5370\u5237\u6280\u672f\u7684\u53d1\u5c55\u7ed9\u4f20\u7edf\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u7684\u624b\u5de5\u5236\u7248\u548c\u5370\u5237\u6280\u5de7\u9020\u6210\u5de8\u5927\u51b2\u51fb\u3002\u5728\u6b64\u60c5\u52bf\u4e0b\uff0c\u6843\u82b1\u575e\u6728\u7248\u5e74\u753b\u7684\u753b\u94fa\u8d8a\u6765\u8d8a\u5c11\uff0c\u4f20\u7edf\u96d5\u7248\u6280\u827a\u548c\u67d3\u8272\u5370\u5237\u6280\u672f\u7684\u4f20\u627f\u4e5f\u8d8a\u6765\u8d8a\u56f0\u96be\uff0c\u6025\u9700\u62a2\u6551\u3001\u4fdd\u62a4\u3002<br \/>  During the past three decades, with the changes in people&rsquo;s lifestyle, the practical functions of Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints have greatly weakened, and its ornamental functions have been enhanced comparatively. The changes in market demand have influenced the survival of traditio<em><\/em>nal crafts such as Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints, and the development of modern printing technology has brought challenges to the manual skills of block making and printing. Under these circumstances, existing workshops that make Taohuawu New Year wood-block prints have become fewer and fewer, and it has become more and more difficult to preserve the traditio<em><\/em>nal techniques of block engraving and dyeing printing.
