 ”There will be further indirect impact from the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis on China’s eco<\/em>nomy in the future. It cannot be underestimated since what lies ahead is far beyond previous experiences,” said Zhou, governor of the People’s Bank of China.<\/p>\n

He made the remarks at a press co<\/em>nference held on the sidelines of the annual session of China’s top legislature.<\/p>\n

He said the changes of global eco<\/em>nomy and internatio<\/em>nal trade caused by the downturn of U.S. eco<\/em>nomy will affect China’s eco<\/em>nomy in different phases.<\/p>\n
