His courtesy name is Yishao and his pseudo<em><\/em>nym is Danzhai. Known as the &ldquo;Sage of Calligraphy&rdquo;, he is said to be a calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. He had seven children, all of whom were notable calligraphers. He died in the 5th year of Shengping Reign and was buried on Waterfall Mountain (also known as Ziteng Mountain), Jinting.
