Hua Tuo 华佗

华佗（约145-208），东汉末医学家，字元化，一名旉，汉族，沛国谯（今安徽省亳州市谯城区）人。华佗与董奉、张仲景（张机）并称为"建安三神医"。关于华佗故里，学术界普遍认为华佗是安徽省亳州市谯城区人。1995年，江泽民主席欣然为亳州亲笔写下了"华佗故里，药材之乡"的题词。

Hua Tuo (around 145 – 208), courtesy named Yuanhua, some others also refer Fu to be his given name, Han nationality, was a Chinese physician during the late Eastern Han Dynasty. He was referred to as one of the Three Jian’an Divine Doctors, along with Dong Feng and Zhang Zhongjing (Zhang Ji). He was commonly regarded as native of Qiao, the Pei State (now Qiao district, Bozhou city, Anhui province). In 1995, Chairman Jiang Zemin transcribed "Hometown of Hua Tuo, Town of Herbs" for Bozhou.

主要成就：外科鼻祖；发明麻沸散、五禽戏。

Major achievements: forerunner of surgery, inventor of Mafeisan (Cannabis Boil Powder) and Wuqinxi (Exercise of the Five Animals)

代表作品：《青囊经》
