第六届“汉语桥”世界中学生中文比赛美国北加州地区预赛
2012年4月6日，第六届“汉语桥”世界中学生中文比赛美国北加州地区预赛在旧金山州立大学孔子学院成功举办。本次大赛由旧金山州立大学孔子学院和全美中小学中文教师协会主办，中国国家汉办和中国驻旧金山总领事馆教育组协办。本次比赛共有19名选手进入决赛，新华社等多家湾区媒体出席了比赛。比赛由2012年美西地区学生演讲比赛一等奖获得者施博瑞 （Bakari Smith）和张雨（Rain Zhang）主持。

第十二届世界大学生汉语桥蒙古赛区选手专访
4月8日，第十二届汉语桥世界大学生中文比赛蒙古国赛区赛落幕，参赛的蒙古国大学生们表示，中国丰富多彩的文化是他们逐步深入学习汉语的桥梁。记者对部分选手做了一些采访。
Purple Mountain Observatory紫金山天文台
There are many historical clues sprinkled around China testifying to an advanced knowledge of astronomy, one of the most visible being the Purple Mountain Observatory. Situated at 267m above sea level, it is located on the third peak of Zĭjīnshān Mountain (紫金山) in Nanjing. While the institution opened in 1928, PMO was given its present name in 1934. Its relics include the 60-cm-caliber reflecting telescope, 20-cm-caliber refracting telescope and meridian transit. There are also many instruments from ancient times, including the armillary sphere, abridged “armilla” and gnomon:

第十二届“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛蒙古赛区
2013年04月07日，第十二届“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛蒙古赛区预选赛决赛在蒙古国首都乌兰巴托圆满落幕。从全蒙古国高校选拔出来的168名大学生，选手们经过演讲、知识问答和才艺表演等三个环节的展示，蒙古国立大学外国语学院一年级学生巴特其其格等10名选手最终获得参加该项赛事蒙古赛区决赛的资格。最终冠亚军分别被蒙古国立大学一年级学生巴特琪琪格与蒙古国人文大学二年级学生恩克玛摘得。巴特琪琪格将代表蒙古赛区赴华同世界各国选手在汉语桥舞台上竞技。
