Cam: 早上好(zaoshang hao). And I’m Cam. You know Yajie, I’m planning a trip to Chicago in the United States.  Its nickname is the “windy city”.  How do I say “windy” in Chinese?
Yajie: Just listen up!

Yajie: So it’s the right time for us to review what we have learned during this week.

Yajie: 早上好，everyone. Thanks for joining us again on Chinese Studio. I'm Yajie.
Cam: 大家早上好(dàjiā zǎoshang hǎo), I’m Cam. As summer comes it's becoming hotter and hotter here in Beijing. And sometimes we even get a mid-summer rainfall. So it's quite important to learn some key words about weather.
Yajie:  Right. Let's listen to our Key Words of the Day.

Yajie: Perfect Chinese your way, in only five minutes a day. Welcome to our Chinese Studio. 早上好 everybody, I’m Yajie.
Cam: And I’m Cam. 早上好(zǎoshang hǎo). What shall we learn today?
Yajie: Last time we learned some expressions when shopping. 元(yuan), 角(jiao), 分(fen).
Cam: 元(yuan), 角(jiao), 分(fen). I also remember 块 (kuai) and 毛 (mao), like六块(liu kuai) and 一毛(yi mao)..
Yajie: Right. 六块(liu kuai) is six yuan ，and一毛(yi mao) is 0.1 yuan.
Cam: OK. Then if I want to buy something, I can ask the seller in Chinese “这个多少钱？” (zhège duōshao qián?) How much is it? Right?
Yajie: Exactly. 这个多少钱？How much is it? If you are not satisfied with the price, In China, you can begin bargaining, and that is what we are going to learn today.
 
***************Key words of the day
Today we’ll learn expressions for bargaining, and they are: 太贵了，能不能便宜点儿？That’s too expensive. Could it be a little bit cheaper? All in today’s Chinese Studio.

Cam: Ok. Happy Birthday is祝你生日快乐(zhù nǐ shēng rì kuài lè).
Yajie: And how do you say “I wish you good health!” in Chinese?
Cam: Well, it’s祝你身体健康！(zhù nǐ shēntǐ jiànkāng).
Yajie: And what about “All the best”?
Cam: 祝你万事如意! (zhù nǐ wàn shì rúyì!)
Yajie: Well, this week we’ll learn words about time. Let’s check our key words of the day!

Cam: Hi, everyone, I’m Cam. Ni hao ma?
Yajie: Hai xing！Last time we learned some Spring Festival greetings.
Cam: Yes, during the Spring Festival you can say祝你春节快乐(zhù nǐ chūnjié kuàilè)!
Yajie: Well done. 祝你春节快乐(zhù nǐ chūnjié kuàilè)! I wish you a happy Spring Festival.
Cam: Or they will send their best wishes by saying “祝您全家幸福！(zhù nín quánjiā xìngfú!)”.
Yajie: Right. Another saying is 祝你万事如意！ “All the best!” Today we’ll continue with the topic of celebrating holidays or birthdays. First let’s check our key words of the day!
