Chinese Idiom 邯郸学步
战国时，赵国首都邯郸以人们走路的姿势闻名。邯郸人的步伐充满活力，非常优美。其他地方人都很羡慕这一点，他们认为邯郸人的走路姿势是天底下最优美的。几个燕国的少年甚至想学习赵人这种优美的走路姿势，于是他们长途跋涉，来到邯郸学习。
在邯郸，这些少年仔细的观察当地人，迫切地想搞清楚他们是怎么走路的。但无论他们怎么试，就是学不会像邯郸人那样的走路姿势。更糟糕的是，当他们决定放弃准备回家时， 他们发现自己连原来的走法也忘了，只好爬着回去。
“邯郸学步”这个成语就是从这则传说而来的。用来形容那些盲目模仿别人，反而丧失原有个性的人。
