The Chinese eat breakfast since Han Dynasty(汉朝Hàncháo) 2000 years ago. Hereafter, most areas of the country eat three meals a day, a reasonable system for both life and production. Though eat three meals a day is a common diet habit for all mankind, the three meals in China fluctuate(if something fluctuates, it changes a lot in an irregular way) diversified paces of life and mold multiple sentiment(a sentiment that people have is an attitude which is based on their thoughts and feelings) of life.

Bite of China II – Realm of Secrets
In the capital of China one can find Turkey Kebap, Spanish Paella or French Foie Gras with original taste and flavor. People in New York(纽约Niǔyuē) City are able to buy Rouga Mo (or literally Marinated Meat in Baked Bun, a Chinese hamburger popular in north Shaanxi Province) at streets of Manhattan, and in Melbourne can have a try of Peking Roast Duck. The travel of human and foods bring those delicacies of each country even more famous. However, less popular foods unavoidably exist. Some of them hidden in China’s rivers, deserts, mountains or other places are also delicious, that’s the realm of secrets we are looking for.
Bite of China II – Encounters
A lot of dishes are fissile(capable of undergoing nuclear fission) wonders produced by kinds of food materials' combination and encounters. Human activities facilitate food's meeting, while the separation and reunion of food mobilize(if you mobilize support or mobilize people to do something, you succeed in encouraging people to take action, especially political action. If people mobilize, they prepare to take action) human’s meeting and parting. This is summarized to "destiny" by people.
About Bite of China II – Daily Domestics, unforgettable home-cooked foods
The Home may be the warm harbor for every one, no matter how far one can reach it is always the starting point and destination in one’s own life. People living in the same house make a fire and cook—they are bound together by love and foods. Simple pots and pans reflect the Chinese lifestyles, whilst(whilst means the same as the conjunction while) daily domestics are just as different tastes of lives.
Investigation to Tongdao: Home of Dong Minority
Invited by the Tourism Bureau of Tong Dong Minority(侗族Dòngzú) Autonomous County, Hunan Province, with great honour VisitOurChina had a chance to attend the county's official starting ceremony of Wanfoshan Mountain & Dong Village Tour. During our 2 days in Tongdao (April 26th and 27th, exactly, the tour was arranged on 27th), we have made a site investigation on the scenic spots, which deeply impress on us.
In Ningbo city
The first trip to China was supposed to start by a one week study in Zhoushan Nanhai Experimental School on the Zhoushan(舟山Zhōushān) Island, Zhejiang Province (浙江省), and my first city-stop after Shanghai Pudong Airport was the seaside city of Ningbo(宁波Níngbō) separated from Zhoushan Island by a narrow body of water. Located in northeastern Zhejiang Province, Ningbo is one of the oldest city of China for its localization on the border of the East China Sea and its past as a trading harbor.
Richness of Taohua Island
The Taohua Island (Peach Blossom Island)… This name sounds like a dream full of expectations. Being the second place I visited in China, this is important for me to present it to you as I was literally speachless in front of its beauty(beauty is the state or quality of being beautiful). The "Peach Blossom Island", Tao Hua Dao(桃花岛Táohuādǎo) in Mandarin Chinese, is part of the Zhoushan (舟山) archipelago located in northeastern Zhejiang Province. The island south of the biggest Zhoushan island one (Dinghai Island), just represents 42 squeare kilometers but is a marvel of botanical diversity, lush sceneries of natural rich flora and fauna.

Visit in Guangzhou
While referring Guangzhou, people like to compare it with Beijing (Peking) and Shanghai, even Hong Kong. Indeed, Guangzhou(广州Guǎngzhōu) City is one of the 3 most important cities in mainland of the China, although Guangzhou is not a municipality like Beijing and Shanghai, it also plays an irreplaceable(irreplaceable things are so special that they cannot be replaced if they are lost or destroyed) role in Pearl River Delta area. If we say Beijing is the city of ancient culture and politics, Shanghai is the city of finance, commerce, fashion and internationalism, then Guangzhou is just the city of economy and delicious food. In the mean time, Guangzhou is also a crucial transportation hub and trading port, convenient to access to Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao.
Zhoushan islands of China
If somebody asks me the first place I have ever been to in China, apart from Shanghai where I first landed and visited later on during my one-month trip, I will answer without the least hesitation: Zhoushan Island(舟山岛Zhōushāndǎo). This name may seem unfamiliar to many people, that is the reason why I am even more eager to make you discover it.
