中国竞争力升至全球十七 
据新华社报道，中国社科院周一发布2010《国家竞争力蓝皮书——中国国家竞争力报告》，中国国家竞争力列世界第17位，比1990年上升56位。
A Chinese Academy of Social Sciences report released Monday ranks China as 17th in the world in terms of national competitiveness, up 56 places since 1990, Xinhua reports. 

中国汽车保有量超8500万 
公安部交管局发布的数据显示，中国机动车保有量已达1.99亿辆，其中汽车8500多万辆，每年新增机动车2000多万辆。
China has more than 199 million vehicles, among which there are around 85 million cars. 20 million vehicles are added every year, according to the communication management bureau of the Ministry of Public Security.

广州将通无人驾驶地铁 第三季度经济数据发布据新华社引述国家统计局消息，第三季度中国国内生产总值（GDP）同比增长9.6%， 增长势头比起一季度的11.9%和二季度的10.3%有所回落。作为通货膨胀指示灯的消费者价格指数（CPI），今年9月上浮3.6%，为2年以来的最高 增幅，环比8月，该指数上扬0.1个百分点。

路灯下的芭蕾魅影 据《华西都市报》报道，四川省成都市一名10岁小女孩每天在路灯下练习芭蕾，已经成为 街头一景，吸引了众多路人眼光。女孩名叫姚启凤，自小就爱跳舞，但她家庭经济能力无法送她去常规舞蹈班。姚启凤曾经短暂参加过芭蕾班，在那里她仅用1年的 时间就取得了芭蕾4级证书，而一般人需要3年。为了省钱，之后她退了班，通过DVD教程学习，并在路灯下练习。小姚希望明年能够考上解放军艺术学院，因为 考上可以免学费，并且实现自己的梦想。
