  The brush washer is a tool used to wash the ink remaining on the brush after it is used.
  In old times, the brush washer was made of shell or jade. In Song Dynasty (960-1279), people began to make washers with graceful porcelain. In Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), there was the small container made of copper used as the brush washer. Most brush washers were made of jade and porcelain and had diversified shapes.
  Most of them are usually in a round flat shape, on which various flower patterns are decorated, presenting an appeal of simplicity, elegance and sedateness.
