Today,I'd like to introduce a movie,The Mummy（木乃伊mùnǎiyī ）3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor（帝龙之墓dì lóng zhī mù）.It is a 2008 American adventure film and sequel to The Mummy (1999) and The Mummy Returns (2001). The film stars are Brendan Fraser, Maria Bello, John Hannah, Luke Ford, and Jet Li, and it was released on August 1, 2008 in the United States. The film was directed by Rob Cohen, written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and produced by Stephen Sommers (director of the previous two films), Bob Ducsay, Sean Daniel, and James Jacks. This film departed from the previous Egyptian setting. 

There is an old Chinese folk saying which says, contemptuously, that "actors are false, prostitutes untrue." (戏子无情，婊子无义 xìzi wúqíng, biǎozi wúyì) What is expressed between the lines is the scorn people in olden times had for these two major service professions, and even more so indicates the principal targets of that disdain were women.

Zhou Xuan (周璇 Zhōu Xuán ) was a popular Chinese singer for her golden voice, and a film actress in the early 20th century. By the 1940s, she had become one of the Seven great singing stars. She is probably the most well-known of the seven, as she had a concurrent movie career until 1953.

Today,I'd like to introduce a 1992 Hong Kong wuxia film, Swordsman II (笑傲江湖之东方不败xiào' àojiānghú zhī Dōngfāng Bùbài ). It is also known as The Legend of the Swordsman. It was directed by Ching Siu-tung and Stanley Tong and written by Hanson Chan, Tang Pik-yin and Tsui Hark. The film was the second part of a trilogy. It starred Jet Li   (李连杰Li Liánjié) , Brigitte Lin, Rosamund Kwan and Michelle Reis. The film was adapted from Louis Cha's novel The Smiling, Proud Wanderer. The theme song of the film, Xiao Hongchen (笑红尘 xiào hóngchén ), was performed by Sarah Chen. The theme song from The Swordsman, Chong Hoi Yat Sing Siu (沧海一声笑 cānghǎi y ì  shēng xiào ), was played in a few scenes in the film.

Today, we are going to talk about a 1986 Hong Kong martial arts film, Martial Arts Of Shaolin (南北少林nán-běi shàolín). It is also known as Shaolin Temple 3: Martial Arts of Shaolin . It is notable as the only collaboration to date between film director Lau Kar-Leung and actor Jet Li   (李连杰Li Liánjié) .
