2010年30日午间，中国驻法大使馆的“金厅”里洋溢着喜庆温暖的气氛——法国前总统德斯坦和来自小城奥里亚克的汉语教学志愿者王可歆在交流学习中文的心得，拉罗谢尔大学孔子学院法方院长海博在一旁与蒙达尔纪市的华文教师王培文相谈甚欢……这些原本毫不相关、天南地北的人们此刻为了同一个理由欢聚一堂——那就是他们共同热爱的汉语。
在中国虎年春节即将到来之际，中国驻法大使孔泉邀请了近２００位中法汉语教育工作者及中国国家汉办派出的志愿者，共同庆祝这一中华民族的传统佳节。大厅的墙壁上，“热热闹闹说中文，欢欢喜喜迎虎年”的横幅格外醒目，红彤彤的底色映衬着厅内一张张幸福快乐的笑脸，不少法国的汉语教师还特意穿上唐装出席活动。
望着眼前济济一堂的“汉语使者”，孔泉感慨地说，汉语将在座的人联系在了一起，无论是汉语教师、志愿者，还是学习汉语的法国人，他们对中文的“一往情深”令人感动。他回忆说，４０年前的巴黎东方语言文化学院仅有２０人在学习中文，而今天这一数字飙升到了１２００人。此外，还有４万多名学生正在法国４４９所学校和１５０所大学学习汉语。孔泉表示，语言在交流中发挥着重要的作用，他希望中法两国的年轻人相互学习，为促进两国关系作出贡献。
已经８０多岁高龄的法国前总统德斯坦出席了招待会，为两国的汉语教师们送上了最美好的祝福。他回忆说，自己１９８０年第一次访问中国，当时他很“郁闷”地发现自己一个中文词语也不会说，于是萌生了学习汉语的念头。为了“炫耀”自己多年来努力的成果，他在讲话中使用了中、法两种语言。虽然他的中文水平与其优雅、考究的法语无法相比，但当这位老人手拿讲稿，认真地将每一个汉字念出的时候，在场的人们为之深深动容。
如果说德斯坦的中文演讲让人感动，那么接下来登场的几名学习中文的法国年轻人则让人感受到了中文“新生代”的力量，这群在“汉语桥”比赛中获奖的选手以歌曲、小品等方式大秀技艺，一时间让整个大厅充满了欢笑与赞叹。
来自普瓦提埃的卡罗琳演绎了一曲《当爱在靠近》，为自己取名“楚杰士”、“元亨利”和“兰静龙”的三个法国小伙子也不甘示弱，声情并茂地朗诵了《风采亮相》，用标准的京腔“推销”起了红酒、奶酪和长棍面包，赢得满堂喝彩。
在这个汉语传播者们的聚会上，“信心”和“快乐”是最常被提起的两个词。出席招待会的巴黎学区区长帕特里克·热拉尔喊出了人们的心声，“让我们一起快乐地说汉语吧！”
