Legendary Amazons杨门女将之军令如山(2011)

Today, I'd like to introduce a Chinese film, Legendary Amazons (杨门女将之军令如山yángménnǚjiāng zhī jūnlìng rú shān)(2011).It is based on the stories of the Yang Clan Generals (杨氏将军Yáng shì jiāngjūn). The film is directed by Frankie Chan and stars Richie Jen, Cecilia Cheung, Cheng Pei-pei and Liu Xiaoqing. The film is based on the same source material as the 1972 Hong Kong film The 14 Amazons.

About Huizhou Group

Anhui-Hangzhou Ancient Road, which extends 25 kilometers from Fuling Town in the Jixi County, Anhui Province to Zhechuan Village in Lin'an City, Zhejiang Province, was a famous ancient road in the China. It was built during the Tang Dynasty(618-907) and served as an important passage for merchants traveling between Anhui and Zhejiang.

Today, I'd like to introduce a 2011 Hong Kong-Chinese martial arts film, Shaolin (新少林寺xīn shàolínsì). It is also known as The New Shaolin Temple  produced and directed by Benny Chan, starring Andy Lau   (刘德华Liú Déhuá) , Nicholas Tse   (谢霆锋Xiè Tíngfēng) , Fan Bingbing  (范冰冰Fàn Bīngbīng)  and Jackie Chan   (成龙Chéng Lóng) . It is an updated version of Jet Li's film debut, Shaolin Temple.

Wuqiao: Home of the Chinese Acrobatics

Chinese acrobatics(中国杂技Zhōngguó zájì) has a very long history and is an excellent and precious cultural legacy(a legacy is money or property which someone leaves to you when they die) of the Chinese nation. There are a lot of acrobatics village in China, e.g. Liaocheng of Shandong Province, Yancheng of Jiangsu Province, Puyang of Henan Province, Tianmen of Hubei Province, Guangde of Anhui Province, Wuqing of Tianjin City, Wuqiao, Suning and Bazhou of Hebei Province. However, as to the history, the influence among people, and the influence in both domestic and abroad, Wuqiao is the most famous one.

Today,I 'd like to introduce a 2009 action and family film , Looking for Jackie (寻找成龙xúnzhǎo Chéng Lóng ). It is directed by Gangliang Fang (方刚亮Fāng Gāngliàng) and Ping Jiang and written by Xuan Hua and Jiamin Wu. It tells the story of a young boy, Zhang Yi-shan ( 张一山Zhāng Yīshān ), who sets on a journey to meet his idol, Jackie Chan (成龙Chéng Lóng) .

About Rhapsody in Silver

The Soldiers Acrobatic Troupe under the Guangzhou(广州Guǎngzhōu) Military Command won awards for Jumping Through Hoops on the Ground, Diabolo Playing and Two-Person Pole Climbing in international competition during the 1980s. During the 1990s, the troupe captured the Clown d'Or for its Two-Person Bowl Balancing Act performed at the 17th Festival International du Cirque Monte-Carlo, as well as the President of the Republic of France Award for Juggling Rugs with the Feet at the Fourth Festival Mondial du Cirque de I'Avenir and the President of the Republic of France Award for Big Springboard Stunts by Women at the 15th Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain.

Today,we are going to talk about a 2009 Hong Kong action crime drama thriller film, Shinjuku Incident (新宿事件Xīnsù shìjiàn). It is written and directed by Derek Yee, and also produced by and starring Jackie Chan (成龙Chéng Lóng) . The film was distributed by Chan's own film company, JCE Movies Limited   (成龙英皇影业有限公司Chéng Lóng yīnghuáng yǐngyè yǒuxiàn gōngsī) .

Flying Spitball

In performing the magic item Flying Spitball(飞行团fēixíng tuán), the performer picks up a small piece of paper from ground or table with the right hand, crushes it up into a spitball and then transfers it from the right hand to the left. Suddenly, he makes a movement of tossing what's in his left hand upwards to the air, saying, Go! Then he opens his left hand and the spitball disappears. After that, he stretches out his right hand and makes a gesture of catching something, saying, Come! At this stage, he opens his right hand and the spitball is really in his right hand.

It is at this time that he meets his apartment building’s handyman Mr Han, who is also a kungfu master. Mr. Han teaches him Chinese Kungfu, and they develop a tacit agreement between them.
