China has withdrawn its bid to host the Asian Cup soccer tournament in 2019, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) confirmed on Thursday.

Kai-Fu Lee, 51, founder and CEO of Innovation Works and former president of Google China, has been diagnosed with lymphoma. Co-founder of Innovation Works Wang Zhaohui confirmed the news, Sina Technology reported.李开复，51岁，创新工场创始人兼首席执行官，前谷歌中国区总裁，被诊断为淋巴癌。创新工场的联合创始人王肇辉确认了新浪科技频道报道的这条消息。
Li’s latest post on his Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, says “although lymph cancer doesn’t sound optimistic and it makes family and friends concerned, this is just life: it comes as a surprise, but I should face it calmly. Born in Taipei, Lee has been working in the internet and technology industry in the U.S. and China for the past two decades. For the second consecutive year, Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing plans to give away at least $3 million of his bonus to roughly 10,000 of his company's workers, Bloomberg News reports.
